Bed Bugs are a scourge that can make your life miserable. Learning how to kill bed bugs at home once infested can be hard to get rid of these bugs.
But follow these steps and you can get rid of BedBugs once and for all.
Step One:
It may seem strange but the first step should always be identifying what you are dealing within your home. Just because you have what might sound like bedbugs – you still have to make sure. This will also help you know how and where you need to treat them. Bed Bugs
These bugs will leave tell-tale clues that will help you identify them. You will need to look very closely to spot these very small pests. It will be helpful to have a flashlight when you start your search.
These bugs like to hide around areas where you sleep. So I always start looking around the bed. You’re looking for either the bugs or signs that they have been around.
These signs can include blood smears, fecal droppings, or shells left behind when molting. The blood smears can be found on your sheets or mattress.
Look along the seams of your mattress or on the bedframe. These bugs can crawl up to 25 feet a night so check furniture around your bed. They can also be found behind pictures that you have hanging nearby.
Once you have found the bugs it’s on to step two.
Step Two:
Step two involves treating and protecting you bed. The first thing that most people do, when they find these bugs, is toss their mattress. Not only does this spread bed bugs all over the hall as the mattress gets drug outside, it costs a lot of money.
A much easier and cost-effective strategy is to treat and encase the mattress. Treat the bed and the areas around your bed. I also use diatomaceous earth when I treat for a lasting effect.
