Learn bed bug bites treatment in this article. These tiny bites can drive you nuts they are so itchy.
Many times the first indication that we have bedbugs is because of the small itchy bites they leave behind. These bites – though small – affect different people in different ways. Some the bites don’t bother as much as others.
The bites are small red marks that can have a small swelling to them. They are usually found with several dots in a row that follow a blood vessel.
Once you find a set of these bites you should check your bed and treat to get rid of the bugs. If you don’t treat your home then you are just going to keep getting bit. Here is how to treat your bed.
Treatment For Bites
Although a normal anti-itch cream can help with a bedbug bite it may not last. A corticosteroid cream can work for the bites depending upon how itchy the bite. You can get a weak form of this without a prescription at your local drugstore.
There is one home remedy that I’ve found works best though. Get out a small bowl. Then put a teabag in the bowl and cover with just enough water to get the bag wet.
Let the tea bag soak a little then hold the wet bag against where ever you have been bitten. Hold it for a bit until the itching sensation goes away. Keep the bowl and bag handy – you might need to re-apply later.
The best way to keep from getting the itchy bites though is to treat your home as soon as possible. The bottom line is that the longer you wait the bigger the infestation becomes. Bed bug bites treatment can also help in the meanwhile.
